Moxie Fab Challenge Cards!

How is it everytime I find these awesome challenges its always the day they are ending! Ugh! I wish I had time to do all the color combos but I could only squeeze in 2. Metallic & Bright & Bold.  So FUN!

I still can't beleive I paper pieced those teeny orange accents on the cups. I paired this cute coffee stamp from SU with a sentiment from TPC Studio.

I made the flowers from scallop circles. Leave are an SU die. Frame was cut with the Cindy Loo cartridge. Thanks for taking a peek!

Once Upon a Springtime Again

Working with more of the Once upon a springtime collection. This time I combined images from a 12x12 sheet & an 8x8 pad. Neat how the images are available in different sizes! Anyway put this together for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS. My inspiration photo is Here. Sentiment from PTI. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

SCS Sketch Challenge

I am simply addicted to these papers right now. I just can't help it. They are Amazing!!
I made the tiny satin embellishment out of SU satin ribbon. I just cut 3 tiny circles, inserted the brad, & heated with my embossing gun. Hope you're inspired to break out some of your pretty papers & create something Fabulous!

Papertrey January Blog Hop Challenge!

I love being reminded to dust off my PTI stamps! I just adore PTI sentiment sets but I always forget they are there! The Happy Birthday is from the Birthday Basics set. I love all the choices of different fonts available in this set. I thought this font went well with my new Graphic 45 papers. This card so beautiful IRL! Thanks for hopping by!

Graphic 45!!

I am SO excited about this card! My hubby being the absolutely fabulous guy that he is totally surprised me & took me to Cranberry Hill yesterday & bought me a bunch of this amazing paper by Graphic 45! This is the first time I have seen their paper collections & I was absoluetly in love with it all!! Now remember I am an extreme paper hoarder so for me to actually cut in to it & make a card is a huge accomplishment for me. This card is really beautiful in person. These papers are just fabulous & I can't wait to actually use them instead of letting them collect dust on my shelf. These are definitely made to be seen!
Thanks for dropping by today!

Bravo Burgundy Rose

Today on SCS the challenge was to use Bravo Burgundy, Baja Breeze, & Pear Pizzazz. Very challenging color combo for me. I haven't used Bravo Burgundy in ages!

I gold embossed everything & watercolored the rose in Bravo Burgundy. I cut the frame from the Cindy Loo cartridge at 4 1/2. I used a gold zig paint pen to very lightly outline the frame & mat. Thanks for stopping by. Hope your day is beautiful!

SCS Challenge Card

I love doing the challenges over on SCS! This card didn't quite turn out as I envisioned but I really wanted to use my new Tim Holtz stamps. I also used my gypsy for the first time (yes, my sweetie got me one of those too! I love that guy!). I went through my cartridges & just cut a bunch of different images. This butterfly was my favorite so I ran it through my xyron & added the black glitter. At this point its after 2 am & I really should be in bed. 6:30 is going to come way too fast! So I put it down & go to bed but all I can think about is finishing the card. Oh boy I should have known I wouldn't be able to sleep until I finished the card. Now I'm back up & trying to figure out how to put it all together anyway I finally settled on this. Now over to the photo studio, snap a few pictures, & then to bed....with my lap top to edit & post of course. Sometimes you don't realize how much time it takes to actually share photos with the world. LOL! Well hope you enjoyed taking a peek. Also FYI today is the last day to comment to win some blog candy @ http://www.mercedesweber.blogspot.com/ . You can check out my first video over there too!
Have a wonderful day!

Create a Critter

So along with the machine hubby bought me a bunch of cartridges. Yeah he went a little bananas! But when I saw Create a Critter I am sure I squealed! This is definitely one I will use ALOT! My girls & I had fun making a bunch of cute critters just because they are so stinkin adorable. I dug through my stacks of pattern papers to find something that could go with this cute critter. I think the paper is by Making Memories from their fall collection a couple years ago. Anyway I paired it with a sentiment from Paper Trey for a very simple & quick card. Squirrel is cut at 3" & I used SU cardstock in Chocolate Chip, Cocoa, Caramel, & Durango. Thanks for stopping by today!

My First Post!!

I am so excited to share a brand new love in my papercrafting life. That's right friends I got a Cricut Expression! My fabulous husband surprised me with it for Christmas & I have been smitten ever since! I know Cricut has been out for awhile but I have pretty much been an exclusively SU stamper for over 6 years so I never even gave it a second look, especially with the hefty price tag. Sooo when I opened it on Christmas morning my first reaction was "Sweet of you hunny but I am taking this thing back." Hubby convinced me to at least give it a try before returning it & soon the thought of ever returning it was out the window! So anyway this blog will be all about my Cricutting adventures & also sharing cards made with stamps from my favorite stamp companies. Just an FYI I also have a blog that is exclusively Stampin Up projects & I hope you'll visit me over there too! http://www.mercedesweber.blogspot.com/
So lets get this party started!
I made this card using the Paisley & Home Decor cartridges. Owl cut at 31/2". Paper used are from K & Co, Amy Butler, The Paper Company, & Stampin Up. Sentiment from Stampin Up. Your comments are much appreciated. I hope you will stop by & visit again soon!
